About
Continuation of the assessment related to Second Avenue Software's Martha Madison's Marvelous Machines. In the Phase II expansion, the game will address a fuller set of educational physics-based educational challenges aimed at middle school students. Building off the prototype developed in 2011, the research will investigate whether the game is engaging for a larger educational target as well as evaluate whether or not learning outcomes of the game have been met. The evaluation will focus upon the collaborative aspects of learning as fostered by the game environment. This effort is funded by the NSF Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Phase 2 program.
