1. Mad Components

Mad Components SWF Examples

If you are working in Flash CS 5.5 on a lab PC, or on your personal machine, you will need to include both of the MAD components (ExtendedMadnessLib0_1_3.swc and MadComponentsLib0_7_1.swc in your project. (Both of these components can be found here)

In the properties panel, click the wrench next to ActionScript 3 pulldown, and you will the get the Advanced ActionScript 3.0 Settings Window. Click the small components icon to add a component to the current project.

Another *gotcha* with Flash CS 5.5 on Windows PCs is that it doesn't seem to like FLA files that were created in OS X. You may need to create a new FLA file in Windows in order to get the AIR player to launch properly.
