About

This research project aims to explore the intersection of casual game development techniques with those used in the production of three-dimensional interactive experiences.  The development has focused upon recreating traditional hardware accelerated techniques in low-performance environment.  Particularly, the investigation has centered upon the use of Pixel Bender, a CPU-based pixel shader system for Flash and Flex to perform custom lighting, shading, and effects.  Work from this project was presented at the Adobe MAX 2009 conference.
