The IGM curriculum committee approved the last remaining documents for our draft of the undergraduate semester curriculum (both in Game Design & Development and New Media Interactive Development). The new curriculum is one that we are very proud of, and one that we believe will serve us well in 2013 and beyond. When we originally created both the NMID program and later the GDD program, they were models on the national stage of how to address these exciting fields. We believe our semester curriculum will once again re-define the state-of-the-art, and the excitement and engagement around this process has brought the faculty even closer together in a shared vision and creative culture. The picture above is of the IGM curriculum committee on the day we reached this milestone - each with an IGM curriculum jersey denoting the team-based approach to this effort. Update: Our undergraduate semester proposals were approved by GCCIS - next stop: the Institute approval process!
